Information collected during a formal client engagement may be subject to additional confidentiality obligations, the terms of the applicable engagement agreement, professional requirements, and applicable laws. Those obligations apply in addition to, and where they conflict take precedence over, this website Privacy Policy.

Information you provide. When you submit the consultation request form, we collect the information you choose to provide:

• The service you select
• Your message

If you contact us directly by phone or email, we receive the information you share in that communication.

Please do not submit sensitive information through this website. The consultation form is not intended for Social Security numbers, tax returns, bank or account numbers, or other confidential financial records. Confidential tax and financial documents must be submitted through a secure document exchange method designated by Young Accounting Services LLC. Instructions will be provided during client onboarding.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, when you visit, your browser sends technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested to the services that deliver the website (see “Third-Party Service Providers”). This website does not use its own analytics or advertising tools.

04Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on third-party providers to operate this website and our business. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies:

• Netlify, Inc. hosts this website and receives and stores consultation form submissions. Netlify screens form submissions for spam and can send us email notifications of new submissions. Netlify’s privacy practices are described in its own privacy policy.
• Google Fonts. This website loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which may receive technical information such as your IP address.
• Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Corporation). Young Accounting Services uses Microsoft 365 to receive and manage business email communications, including website consultation notifications and responses to prospective clients. Microsoft processes related email and contact information in connection with providing these services, subject to its applicable terms and privacy commitments.
• QuickBooks (Intuit). If you become a client, invoices are issued through QuickBooks, which processes the related billing information under Intuit’s terms.
• DocuSign. Young Accounting Services LLC uses DocuSign to distribute, electronically sign, and manage client engagement agreements. When a prospective client proceeds with an engagement, DocuSign may process their name, email address, electronic signature, and related agreement information in connection with the electronic signing process, subject to DocuSign’s applicable privacy practices and terms. DocuSign is used only during client onboarding and the engagement process; it is not part of this website’s public consultation form.

We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect our rights, our clients, or others.

05Information Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information submitted through this website, including limiting access to inquiry information to those who need it to respond. However, no method of transmitting or storing information over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

For this reason, please do not include sensitive personal or financial information in the consultation form or in ordinary email. Confidential tax and financial documents must be submitted through a secure document exchange method designated by Young Accounting Services LLC. Instructions will be provided during client onboarding. This includes documents such as tax returns, Social Security numbers, and bank or account statements. Secure document exchange is not available through this public website.

06Information Retention

We keep consultation inquiries only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, maintain appropriate business records, and meet any legal or professional obligations. Information related to a client engagement is retained as described in the applicable engagement agreement.

07Your Privacy Requests

You may contact us to ask what information we hold from your website inquiry, to correct it, or to request that we delete it. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to any information we are required to keep by law or for legitimate business purposes. Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you additional privacy rights; we will honor requests as required by any law that applies.

08Children’s Privacy

This website is intended for adults and businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website.
